All personal information collected by National Prescribing Service Limited for the purposes of the National Prescribing Curriculum (NPC) will be kept strictly confidential and stored securely. All and any information collected at this web site – including the content of application forms, and e-mail addresses – will be used only for the intended purposes and will not be sold, re-used, rented or loaned for other purposes.

When users visit this web site, the NPC web site the NPC site server makes a record of their visit and records the following information:

These data elements do not allow identification of the individual user because the name of the user is not recorded and only participating Universities retain tables which match the User ID with the user name.

National Prescribing Service Ltd. staff and participating Universities analyse these records to monitor use of the site. Information is used by the National Prescribing Service Limited for evaluation purposes and  for communication with participating Universities.
